I have some Mourning Doves nesting in my pine trees. I think this is the mom. They're not ordinarily this calm, but I think they understand that I'm not going to harm them.

Very nice photographs. You have a good eye.
I recently stepped in to the age of digital photography. My ultimate favorite hobby is photography. I enjoy developing my own photographs, but I must admit that digital photography is a lot of fun too. It's convenience and ease of sharing is great!

Thanks for your kind words. I really do wish that these photos weren't so grainy. I think it's from transferring them from slides to my hard drive to Picassa...they do get a little messed up. I may re-try uploading them.
The bee pics are reqular photos, the dove is a digital photo. I really do prefer conventional photography, but as you say, digital is great for sharing.
