Yet ANOTHER shot from the Oregon Coast, about 1981 or 1982. I thought this turned out fairly well in kind of an unexpected sort of way. I like the sepia tones that came across, this was before digital enhancement. It was more of a development error, actually. But I liked it this way.

Found this old photo from the Oregon Coast that I took back in about 1981. Thought it wasn't too bad.

Just playing around with making pics larger.

A dandelion-like thing on a cliff at the Oregon Coast. Circa 1981. I nearly slid off the cliff to a certain death trying to get this shot.

This is the first picture that I took that I actually liked. This would be about 1980, I had just purchased a used Pentax K1000 (that I still have and use). I knew squat about photography, and am still an idiot when it comes to the technical stuff. I just like taking pictures.

One of my earlier pics. Oregon coast.

Owyhee Canyon, circa 2000

Thought I'd try this one again, but larger.

OK, this is the last bee pic, at least for today.

I think this bee may be ready to take a nap.

This (just today) has become one of my favorite pictures. This little guy or gal is working his or her heart out. I love the soft texture of the flower as well.

So, the weather is nice and I have bees snarfing on my flowers. Sorry for posting so many pics.

One last one of Hawaii. Dragon's teeth on Maui, just by the Ritz-Carlton. Very nice place to stay if you don't mind mortgaging your children's and grandchildren's future for a couple of days' stay...
I must be in a photographic mood, if there is such a thing. This is Maui - on top of Haleakala.
Another butterfly. If you look closely you can see that it is sucking on the flower. Again, no tripod, so it's not perfectly focused, but not too bad.

I thought I might put a couple of butterfly pics on here, just for fun. I thought these turned out fairly well for not having a tripod.

More of these guys, but larger.
